Built differently

What's inside the wall matters

Most wendy houses look alike from the road. The difference is in the planks and how they're fixed. Here's a cut through one of our walls.

  1. Tongue and groove

    Each vertical plank locks into the next, so the wall seals like a solid panel.

  2. 15 mm finished planks

    Thicker than typical louvre cladding, for a sturdier wall that holds its shape.

  3. Machined in-house

    We start with 19 mm kiln-dried, graded SA pine, then plane and machine it in our own factory.

  4. Ring-shank nails

    Ringed shanks grip the timber, so they don't pull out the way ordinary wire nails do.
